Rancho Redondo - Costa Rica

This is just a small town close to San José (20-30min car ride). I however recommend going there because you can quickly escape the city and breath some cool clean air! Besides, the views are astonishing! When you get almost there from San José, at the right you will see "el mirador" - an scenic viewpoint. A little bit further you will have the one-road town of Rancho Redondo. If you keep driving (4x4 vehicle recommended), you will eventually get to "El llano" another small town... and even further away to Cartago city. Note: go early, after 4 or 5pm it can get pretty cloudy and foggy.
